Key takeaways

  • Saltbox is the best warehousing space in Phoenix in 2026 for ecommerce brands that want flexible, fulfillment-ready warehouse suites with monthly terms, discounted shipping, and on-demand logistics support.
  • Portal Warehousing, WareSpace, and Loloft are strong co-warehousing alternatives offering turnkey warehouse units with coworking amenities and shorter lease commitments than traditional industrial spaces.
  • American Western Distribution and MAC6 Entrepreneurial Center are better suited for businesses that need contract warehousing, distribution services, or light manufacturing space alongside workspace.

If you're looking for warehouse space in Phoenix, you already know the problem:

Traditional industrial leases want a year or more commitment, and most available space isn't designed for businesses doing under 20,000 orders a month.

In this guide, I'll go over the 10 best warehousing spaces in the Phoenix metro area for 2026, including their amenities, pricing, lease terms, and who each space is best for.

Factors to consider when evaluating warehousing spaces in Phoenix

Before we get into the list, here are three factors I'd look at closely if I were shopping for warehouse space in the Phoenix metro right now.

#1: Lease flexibility and contract terms

Traditional warehouse leases in Phoenix run 3-5 years with personal guarantees, NNN (Triple Net Lease) fees, and CAM charges that can add $3-5 per sq. ft. on top of your base rent.

If your business is seasonal or you're still figuring out your order volume, that kind of lock-in is risky.

The co-warehousing model has changed this.

Several providers on this list offer month-to-month agreements or short-term commitments as low as 30 days.

Before signing anything, you can ask:

  • What's the shortest term available?
  • What happens if I need to scale up or down?
  • Is there a penalty for leaving early?
  • And does the pricing include everything, or are utilities, Wi-Fi, and dock access billed separately?

#2: Location and logistics access

Phoenix is a sprawling metro. Where your warehouse sits relative to I-10, Loop 202, and Sky Harbor Airport matters more than the sticker price on your lease.

Most of the co-warehousing operators on this list cluster along the I-10/Tempe/South Phoenix corridor for a reason: it gives you quick access to major interstates and the airport, which means faster shipping and easier freight receiving.

But proximity to highways isn't the only thing. Think about where your team lives, and how easy it is for delivery trucks to access loading docks.

#3: Included amenities and operational support

A warehouse is just four walls and a roof. What separates a good warehousing space from a great one is everything else that comes with it.

At a minimum, you want to see loading docks, climate control (this is Arizona: summer heat will damage inventory), 24/7 access, Wi-Fi, and security.

But the real differentiators are things like daily carrier pickups from UPS, USPS, and FedEx, shared equipment like pallet jacks, conference rooms, and on-site staff who can receive packages when you're not around.

Some providers also offer fulfillment support, discounted shipping rates, and on-demand labor.

#1: Saltbox

Saltbox offers the best warehousing space in Phoenix for ecommerce founders looking for a co-warehousing solution with flexible monthly billing, integrated logistics support, and a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.

Our co-warehousing solution combines private warehouse suites and offices with on-site logistics services, so you can run fulfillment, storage, and ecommerce operations from one location.

Disclosure: Even though Saltbox is our solution, I'll provide an honest breakdown of what makes our co-warehousing space the best warehousing option in Phoenix.

And you can do all of that without signing a multi-year industrial lease or outsourcing entirely to a 3PL.

Let's go over the services and amenities that have helped ecommerce businesses like Shinery, Chunks, and Bamblu to grow: 👇

Warehousing and workspaces that can scale with your brand

Whether you're just starting out or managing a growing team, Saltbox Phoenix offers flexible warehouses and office spaces ranging from 70 to 5,000+ sq. ft.

Our Tempe facility at 910 W Carver Rd is Saltbox's newest and largest location, with many warehouse suites to choose from, roll-up doors, a content studio, and event space.

You'll also have the chance to pay monthly instead of being locked into a long-term contract from day one, and the ability to scale up or down as your needs change.

We offer four main warehouse space options designed to fit different stages and business needs:

  • Starter: Ideal for solo operators or small teams of 1-2 employees, with 70 to 250 sq. ft. of space and room for 4 to 15 pallets. A solid choice if you need a dedicated area without excess space.
  • Small: Built for teams of 1-4 employees, this option includes 250 to 500 sq. ft. of space and storage for 16 to 31 pallets. Good for small businesses getting ready to scale.
  • Medium: Designed to support 1-10 employees, offering 500 to 1,000 sq. ft. of space and capacity for 32 to 62 pallets. Fits growing teams with increasing inventory.
  • Large: Best for larger teams of up to 50 employees, this option provides 1,000 to 5,000+ sq. ft. of space and storage for 63 to 125 pallets. Well-suited for established DTC brands with significant workspace and storage requirements.

➡️ You can always start small and expand as your business grows, or begin with a larger space and scale down if your needs change.

Our team can advise you on the right size when you come in for a tour.

  • Discounted shipping rates: Our Parsel shipping platform gives you access to carrier partnerships that most small brands might struggle to negotiate on their own

What makes Saltbox different from traditional warehousing solutions

The biggest difference between Saltbox and a traditional warehouse lease is that we built our model specifically for how ecommerce businesses operate.

With a traditional industrial lease in Phoenix, you're looking at a 3-5 year commitment, NNN charges on top of base rent, and a space that comes with nothing but walls, a floor, and maybe a dock.

You'll need to install your own racking, set up your own Wi-Fi, negotiate your own carrier rates, and figure out staffing on your own.

If business slows down, you're stuck paying for space you don't need.

Saltbox flips that model.

Our suites come fully equipped with loading dock access, packing stations, label printers, climate control, high-speed Wi-Fi, and shared amenities like conference rooms and a kitchen.

Traditional amenities, such as water, electricity, and trash, are also included.

You get daily carrier pickups, discounted shipping, and on-site staff who can receive packages and help manage inbounding.

The Upstream Entrepreneurs Club connects you with a community of ecommerce founders who are building alongside you.

And the billing is month-to-month.

No personal guarantees. No mandatory multi-year lock-in.

If you need to scale up next quarter, we'll help you move into a bigger suite. If you need to downsize, you can do that, too.

Saltbox's membership, warehouse, and office plans

At Saltbox, you first select your membership tier, then choose your warehouse size (optional), and finally select your office (optional).

Saltbox has 3 membership tiers:

  • Virtual: $99/month, a fully virtual membership for businesses that need a professional mailing address (mail only, no packages) and access to the Upstream Entrepreneurs Club community.
  • Access: Starting from $199/month, which includes physical access to our locations, loading dock, packing stations, meeting rooms, and a content creation studio, without requiring a warehouse suite.
  • Warehouse: Custom pricing, which includes flexible warehouse and office suites built for ecommerce entrepreneurs, with shipping technology, onsite logistics support, and modern amenities.

From here, you can select your warehouse size, as pricing varies by city. Let's take a look at Phoenix's pricing:

  • Small Warehouse: Starting at $1,545/month for 1-2 employees, 70 to 250 sq. ft., and can accommodate 4 to 15 pallets.
  • Medium Warehouse: Starting at $2,446/month for 1-4 employees, 250 to 500 sq. ft., and can accommodate 16 to 31 pallets.
  • Large Warehouse: Starting at $4,325/month for 1-10 employees, 500 to 1,000 sq. ft., and can accommodate 32 to 62 pallets.
  • Extra Large Warehouse: Starting at $7,210/month for 1-50 employees, 1,000 to 5,000+ sq. ft., and can accommodate 63 to 125 pallets.

Last but not least, you'll need to select your office size, which also comes with regional pricing. Here's Phoenix’s pricing:

  • 1-person office: $550/month for 1 chair and 1 desk.
  • 2-person office: $850/month for 2 chairs and 2 desks.
  • 3-person office: Not available at the moment, but has 3 chairs and 3 desks.
  • 4-person office: $1,800/month for 4 chairs and 4 desks.

➡️ You won't be locked into an annual contract, as you can pay monthly. However, you can save 10% by paying annually, or save 5% when paying biannually.

Saltbox pros and cons

✅ Get inventory, shipping infrastructure, and an office in one place.

✅ Keep inventory in your private suite and run fulfillment yourself, or get help when you need it.

✅ Monthly payments with no long-term lease requirement.

✅ Save on shipping costs with Parsel's carrier partnerships.

❌ Suite sizes may feel small for brands with very large SKU counts or heavy freight.

#2: Portal Warehousing

Source of image.

Portal Warehousing provides all-inclusive warehouse units from 200 to 3,000 sq. ft. in Tempe, with air conditioning, on-site staff, and daily carrier pickups included.

Source of image.

  • Air-conditioned warehouse suites with high-speed internet, reception services, and coworking spaces.
  • Dock-high and grade-level doors with enterprise-level logistics equipment.
  • There are also discounts available on critical shipping software, insurance, and more.
  • Community events and access to consultants for operations, marketing, finance, and logistics.

Pricing

Portal Warehousing doesn't publicly list pricing for its Tempe location. All-inclusive monthly pricing covers utilities, Wi-Fi, coworking, and daily carrier pickups.

You'll need to book a tour to get a final quote based on the unit size and configuration you need.

Pros and cons

✅ Month-to-month license agreements with no long-term commitments.

✅ Tempe location is less than 5 minutes from I-10 and 2 miles from ASU.

✅ Move-in-ready warehouse from 200 to 3,000 sq. ft.

❌ Pricing is not transparent, so it's difficult to compare costs before touring.

❌ No option to hire on-site labor for fulfillment help when things get busy, which is why some founders have been looking for Portal Warehousing alternatives.

#3: WareSpace

Best for: Small businesses and ecommerce brands looking for all-inclusive, climate-controlled warehouse space with straightforward pricing.

Location: 9801 S 51st St (South Tempe).

Source of image.

WareSpace offers private warehouse units from 200 to 2,000 sq. ft. with industrial racking, climate control, and shared amenities bundled into one flat monthly fee.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Climate-controlled year-round with HVAC, 24/7 secure access, and industrial racking in every unit.
  • Shared loading docks, drive-in docks, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
  • Conference rooms, private offices, kitchen/lounge, and shipping stations included.
  • On-site General Manager with interior and exterior video surveillance.

Pricing

WareSpace’s pricing in Phoenix starts at $950/month for a small warehouse for about 10 pallets and goes up to $2,675/month for 40+ pallets.

Pros and cons

✅ All-inclusive flat fee makes budgeting simple with no surprise charges.

✅ 20+ locations nationally give room to expand to other cities if needed.

✅ Climate-controlled year-round with HVAC.

❌ Standard agreements are 6 or 12 months, not true month-to-month from day one, which is why some ecommerce founders have been looking for WareSpace alternatives.

❌ Some members have reported inconsistent experiences across different locations.

#4: Loloft

Best for: Small businesses and solo entrepreneurs looking for a modern coworking space with integrated warehouse and office options.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (4750 S 44th Pl, Suite 120).

Source of image.

Loloft opened its Phoenix location in 2024 and brings together coworking, private offices, and flexible warehouse space under one roof at the Cotton Center Business Park.

The facility spans 51,902 sq. ft. and sits minutes from I-10, SR-143, Loop 202, and Sky Harbor Airport, making it well-positioned for logistics.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Air-conditioned warehouse units with loading docks, electric openers, and communal equipment (flat decks, hand trolleys, pallet jacks, dock plates).
  • Staffed shipping center with daily courier pickups from UPS, DHL, FedEx, and USPS.
  • Meeting rooms with 4 x 30-minute credits per month, phone booths, a kitchen with coffee, free parking, and 24/7 card entry.
  • Mail handling and package receiving included.

Pricing

Loloft publishes its Phoenix warehouse pricing on its website:

  • Small Warehouse (up to 200 sq. ft.): Starting at $722/month.
  • Medium Warehouse (up to 550 sq. ft.): Starting at $1,069/month.
  • Large Warehouse (up to 1,200 sq. ft.): Starting at $2,279/month.

Source of image.

Pros and cons

✅ Transparent pricing published on the website, making it easy to compare.

✅ Modern facility with strong design and a professional atmosphere near Sky Harbor Airport.

✅ Daily carrier pickups from UPS, DHL, FedEx, and USPS included.

❌ Expanding but still limited in total locations, which limits options if you need to expand to other major markets.

❌ Warehouse sizes cap at 1,200 sq. ft. in Phoenix, so it may not suit brands with larger space needs.

#5: American Western Distribution

Best for: Small to mid-sized businesses that need local contract warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution services from a Phoenix-based provider.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (1511 S 47th Ave, Suite 400).

Source of image.

American Western Distribution (AWD) is a Phoenix-headquartered warehousing and fulfillment company that operates a 32,000 sq. ft. facility on the west side of the city.

Unlike the co-warehousing providers higher on this list, AWD is a contract warehousing and 3PL operation.

You don't rent your own suite. Instead, you store inventory in their facility and their team handles receiving, storage, fulfillment, and distribution on your behalf.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Climate-controlled 32,000 sq. ft. warehouse with racked, shelved, palletized, vaulted, and floor space storage options.
  • 24/7 security and fire control systems monitored around the clock.
  • Proprietary web-based inventory control system with access to track stored products, receiving dates, and shipment dates.
  • Full fulfillment services, including receiving, inspection, order fulfillment, FIFO, light assembly, kitting, and packaging.
  • In-house distribution and transportation fleet for Arizona and 3PL transportation services nationwide.

Pricing

AWD does not publish standard pricing. Contact them directly for a quote.

Pros and cons

✅ Locally headquartered in Phoenix with a dedicated facility, not a franchise or remote operation.

✅ Full-service warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution under one roof.

✅ Proprietary inventory management system with 24/7 online access.

❌ Not a co-warehousing space. You don't get your own private suite or physical workspace.

❌ Pricing is not transparent and requires a custom quote.

#6: MAC6 Entrepreneurial Center

Best for: Product-based entrepreneurs and makers who need co-manufacturing space with warehouse and office facilities.

Location: Tempe, AZ (1430 W Broadway Rd).

Source of image.

MAC6 has been operating since 2011 and hosts over 100 businesses on its Tempe campus.

It's not a pure co-warehousing play, but rather a co-manufacturing and entrepreneurial center that includes dedicated workspace alongside light manufacturing facilities.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Air-conditioned workspace with power, compressed air, natural gas, and a shared clean room (rare for this category).
  • Truck bay, loading docks, and shipping facilities on campus.
  • Coworking desks, private offices, meeting rooms, and a 24/7 on-campus gym with a trainer.
  • Organizational growth programs, weekly community events, and on-site management.

Pricing

MAC6 publishes pricing for its workspace options:

  • Virtual Office: $59/month.
  • Flex Desk (coworking): $169/month.
  • Private Office: Starting at $599/month.
  • Enterprise Solutions (private suites for teams up to 80): Starting at $1,999/month.
  • Growth+ (office/coworking combos for 5-25 employees): Starting at $1,999/month.

Source of image.

Pros and cons

✅ Established community of 100+ businesses with 14 years of operational history.

✅ Clean room and compressed air access, which is unique among Phoenix warehousing providers.

✅ Flexible, breakable leases with a guarantee that you can terminate if the space no longer fits.

❌ Only 1 location (Tempe), so no room to expand to other markets.

❌ More manufacturing-oriented than ecommerce-focused, so the amenities may not align perfectly for DTC brands.

#7: Warehouse Exchange

Best for: Businesses in food, consumer products, or other industries that need shared, food-grade warehouse space in central Phoenix.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (we weren’t able to confirm the exact location).

Source of image.

Warehouse Exchange provides shared warehouse space in a 22,000 sq. ft. facility in Phoenix.

This is a specialized option that's different from the co-warehousing providers on this list.

The facility is FDA-approved and HACCP-certified, making it suited for businesses that handle food, consumer products, apparel, electronics, and similar goods.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • FDA-approved, HACCP-certified food-grade warehouse with 22-foot clear ceiling height.
  • 1 dock-high door and 2 ground-level doors.
  • 3-phase power, internet, water and drain, security cameras, and overnight parking.
  • 3PL-style fulfillment services available, including pallet receiving, carton receiving, unit pick and pack, ecommerce fulfillment, kitting, repacking, labeling, and cross-docking.
  • 504 sq. ft. of office space available on-site.

Pricing

Warehouse Exchange does not publish standard pricing. Rates are negotiated with each member based on space needs and services required.

Pros and cons

✅ FDA-approved and HACCP-certified, which is rare for flexible warehouse options in Phoenix.

✅ 3PL fulfillment services available on-site, so you can outsource pick, pack, and ship.

✅ Trailer parking available (6 spots) for businesses receiving freight.

❌ Shared space with strict use restrictions, so it's not suitable for all business types.

❌ Minimum 3-month commitment required.

#8: Flowspace

Best for: Ecommerce brands that want flexible, on-demand fulfillment and warehousing in the Phoenix metro without managing their own warehouse space.

Location: Fulfillment centers in Tempe and Mesa, AZ (part of a national network of 150+ centers).

Source of image.

Flowspace operates as an on-demand fulfillment and warehouse network rather than a single-site warehouse provider.

You send your inventory to their nearest fulfillment center, and their team handles storage, pick, pack, and ship for every order.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Full pick, pack, and ship fulfillment handled by Flowspace's warehouse team.
  • Distributed network of 150+ fulfillment centers across the U.S. for faster delivery times.

  • Integrations with Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, and other major ecommerce platforms.
  • Network Optimization algorithm that routes orders to the nearest fulfillment center for faster, more affordable shipping.
  • Custom services including kitting, bundling, branded packaging, and returns management. Month-to-month storage without long-term commitments.

Pricing

Flowspace's pricing is custom, so you'll need to contact their team for a quote.

Pros and cons

✅ Fulfillment centers in Tempe and Mesa give you local Phoenix-area inventory storage.

✅ 150+ fulfillment center network lets you distribute inventory closer to customers nationwide.

✅ Month-to-month storage with no long-term warehouse lease commitment.

❌ You lose physical control over your inventory and can't walk in and manage it yourself, which is why some members tend to look for Flowspace alternatives.

❌ Pricing is custom and can vary, making it hard to compare costs upfront.

#9: ShipBob

Best for: Ecommerce brands that want to fully outsource fulfillment to a 3PL without managing their own warehouse space.

Location: 1250 South 71st Ave., #900, Phoenix, AZ 85043

Source of image.

ShipBob is a full 3PL provider, not a co-warehousing space. The distinction matters.

With ShipBob, you send your inventory to their warehouse, and their team handles pick, pack, and ship for every order.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Full pick, pack, and ship fulfillment handled by ShipBob's warehouse team.
  • Real-time inventory management and order tracking through their software platform.
  • Integrations with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and other major ecommerce platforms. 2-day shipping options and distributed inventory across 60+ fulfillment centers in 6 countries to reduce transit times.
  • Inventory Placement Program that lets high-volume brands send inventory to one location, then ShipBob distributes it across their network.
  • Proprietary warehouse management system (WMS) available for brands that want to keep fulfillment in-house.

Pricing

ShipBob's pricing is custom and based on your storage needs, order volume, and fulfillment complexity. You'll need to contact their sales team for a quote.

Pros and cons

✅ Truly hands-off fulfillment if you don't want to manage warehouse operations yourself.

✅ 60+ fulfillment centers across 6 countries enables distributed inventory and faster delivery times.

✅ Strong software platform with real-time tracking and ecommerce integrations.

❌ You lose physical control over your inventory and can't access it whenever you want.

❌ Pricing is opaque and can add up quickly for brands with low order volumes or complex SKU mixes.

#10: ReadySpaces

Best for: Small businesses that want industrial coworking with short-term leases and basic warehouse infrastructure.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (planned but not yet open).

Source of image.

ReadySpaces is a national co-warehousing operator with 38+ locations across the U.S. and Canada that has publicly stated Phoenix is on its expansion list.

While their Phoenix facility isn't open yet, their established national footprint and reputation make them worth keeping on your radar.

Amenities and benefits

Source of image.

  • Loading docks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and conference rooms available at existing locations.
  • Private office suites, visitor management, and on-site security.
  • A broad range of use cases from ecommerce to light manufacturing to contractor storage.

Pricing

Pros and cons

✅ 38+ existing locations give confidence in their operational model and national reach.

✅ 90-day minimum lease is shorter than many traditional options.

✅ Broad use case flexibility from ecommerce to contractors to overflow storage.

❌ Not yet operational in Phoenix, so there's no confirmed timeline, pricing, or address.

❌ Requires a 90-day initial commitment at other locations, which is longer than some competitors to ReadySpaces.
