Built to Grow contest official rules
1. Eligibility
To be eligible to enter the Built to Grow Contest ("Contest"), you must meet ALL of the following requirements:
General Eligibility:
- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry
- Must be a legal resident of the United States
- Must own or operate a product-based business (businesses that manufacture, distribute, or sell physical products)
- Must complete an in-person tour at any Saltbox location between February 25, 2026, and March 24, 2026
Prize-Specific Eligibility:
- Employees, officers, and directors of Saltbox and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members (whether related or not)
- Service-based businesses that do not ship physical products
- Individuals who have not completed a qualifying Saltbox tour during the Contest Period
The Scaling Brand Grant:
Ineligible Participants:
- Must provide proof of 1,000+ monthly orders (documentation from peak season or recent sales period accepted)
- Must complete Saltbox tour by March 24, 2026
- Must be willing to document your Saltbox journey through photos, videos, or testimonials
- Must be shipping fewer than 500 orders per month
- Must complete Saltbox tour by March 24, 2026
- Must be willing to document your Saltbox journey through photos, videos, or testimonials
The Early Stage Brand Grant:
- Must be shipping fewer than 500 orders per month
- Must complete Saltbox tour by March 24, 2026
- Must be willing to document your Saltbox journey through photos, videos, or testimonials
Ineligible Participants:
- Employees, officers, and directors of Saltbox and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members (whether related or not)
- Service-based businesses that do not ship physical products
- Individuals who have not completed a qualifying Saltbox tour during the Contest Period
2. How to enter
Automatic Entry Method (Required):
Complete an in-person tour at any participating Saltbox location between February 25, 2026 and March 24, 2026. Tours must be scheduled through Saltbox's official booking system at saltbox.com or by contacting a Saltbox location directly. Walk-in tours are subject to availability and may not qualify for entry.
Upon completion of your tour, you will receive one (1) automatic entry into the Contest for the prize tier you qualify for based on your monthly order volume.
Bonus Entry Method (Optional):
Entrants may earn one (1) additional bonus entry by completing all of the following steps:
- Follow @joinsaltbox on Instagram
- Like the official Built to Grow Contest announcement post on @joinsaltbox
- Tag at least one (1) fellow founder in the comments of the announcement post
- Create and post an original video (minimum 15 seconds, maximum 90 seconds) on your business's Instagram account that includes:
- Your founder story
- How Saltbox could support your business's next chapter
- The hashtag #SaltboxBuiltToGrow
- A tag of @joinsaltbox
Bonus entries must be completed by 11:59 PM EST on March 24, 2026 to qualify.
Entry Limits: Maximum of two (2) total entries per person/business (one automatic entry + one optional bonus entry). Multiple tour completions or Instagram posts will not result in additional entries.
3. Prizes
The Scaling Brand Grant (1 winner):
Total approximate retail value: $2,500
Includes:
- One (1) month of Saltbox workspace membership (value varies by location, approximately $500-$1,500)
- Custom workspace optimization consultation (value: $300)
- One (1) pair of Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses (approximate value: $300)
- Saltbox swag kit (approximate value: $100)
- Free inventory audit and removal of excess inventory from Stock* (value: TBD)
*Subject to partner confirmation and availability. If unavailable, Saltbox reserves the right to substitute with an item of equal or greater value.
The Early Stage Brand Grant (3 winners):
Total approximate retail value per winner: $800
Includes:
- Three (3) months of Saltbox Access Plan membership (approximate value: $300-$600)
- Saltbox swag kit (approximate value: $100)
- One (1) pair of Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses (approximate value: $300)
- Free one-hour consultation with Demystify AI* (value: TBD)
*Subject to partner confirmation and availability. If unavailable, Saltbox reserves the right to substitute with an item of equal or greater value.
Prize Conditions:
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
- No prize substitutions by winners
- Saltbox reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if specified prizes become unavailable
- Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes
- Workspace membership prizes must be activated within 60 days of winner notification and used at the winner's nearest Saltbox location
- Unused portions of workspace memberships cannot be rolled over, extended, or refunded
- Winners must maintain good standing and comply with all Saltbox membership terms during their prize period
4. Winter Selection
Selection Process:
All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be entered into a random drawing. Winners will be selected by random drawing on or around March 25, 2026 by Saltbox representatives.
- One (1) winner will be selected for The Scaling Brand Grant from all eligible Scaling Brand entries
- Three (3) winners will be selected for The Early Stage Brand Grant from all eligible Early Stage Brand entries
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received in each prize category.
Winner Notification:
Winners will be announced publicly at the Built for Bold Summit on March 25, 2026. Winners will also be notified via email and/or phone within two (2) business days following the Summit using the contact information provided during tour booking.
Potential winners must respond to winner notification within seven (7) calendar days of notification attempt. If a potential winner does not respond within this timeframe, is found to be ineligible, cannot accept the prize as stated, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries.
Verification:
Before being declared an official winner, potential winners may be required to:
- Complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release
- Provide proof of business ownership and monthly order volume
- Provide government-issued photo identification
- Sign a W-9 form for tax reporting purposes
Failure to provide required documentation within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.
5. Content Rights & Usage
By entering the Contest, entrants grant Saltbox and its affiliates a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display their:
- Business name and logo
- Founder name and likeness
- Instagram content submitted for bonus entry (including videos, photos, and captions)
- Any testimonials, photos, or videos created as part of prize fulfillment
This content may be used for marketing, advertising, promotional, and commercial purposes across all media platforms (social media, website, email, print, etc.) without additional compensation or approval.
Winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the Contest and their prize, including but not limited to:
- Providing testimonials about their Saltbox experience
- Appearing in photos and videos documenting their Saltbox journey
- Being featured in case studies or member spotlights
- Participating in content for the Built for Bold Summit
6. Privacy & Data Collection
By entering the Contest, entrants acknowledge that Saltbox will collect and use their personal information (name, email address, phone number, business information, order volume data) for Contest administration and winner notification purposes.
Entrants may also receive marketing communications from Saltbox. Entrants can opt out of marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email from Saltbox.
Information collected is subject to Saltbox's Privacy Policy, available at [saltbox.com/privacy-policy].'
7. General Conditions
Release of Liability:
By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Saltbox, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners (including Stock and Demystify AI), advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
Limitation of Liability:
Saltbox is not responsible for:
- Late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries
- Telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, internet, or computer malfunctions or failures
- Inaccurate tour booking information due to technical issues
- Failed, incomplete, or garbled computer or network transmissions
- Any condition caused by events beyond the control of Saltbox that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted
- Any injuries, losses, or damages caused by events beyond Saltbox's reasonable control
- Any printing or typographical errors in Contest materials
Right to Modify or Cancel:
Saltbox reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest if it cannot be completed as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or any other causes beyond Saltbox's control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest.
In the event of cancellation, Saltbox reserves the right to select winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to cancellation.
Disqualification:
Saltbox reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
- Violates these Official Rules
- Tampers with the entry process
- Acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner
- Provides false or misleading information
- Uses automated entry methods or bots
- Submits multiple entries from the same business/individual beyond the stated limit
8. Dispute Resolution
Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Contest, entrants agree that:
- Any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action
- Any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (excluding attorney's fees)
- Under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for punitive, incidental, or consequential damages
- All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of [Saltbox's primary state of operation] without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules

10. Instagram Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their affiliates. By entering, entrants release Instagram and Meta from any liability related to this Contest.
Information provided for this Contest is being provided to Saltbox and not to Instagram or Meta.
11. Additional Terms
Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's consent to Saltbox's use of winner's name, likeness, voice, business name, photograph, and/or prize information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Saltbox's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Entire Agreement: These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between entrants and Saltbox regarding the Contest and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.
