Who are we and how did we get here?
Our Story
Co-Founders, John Delano and Ali Shahrazad conceptualized Saltbox in October 2010 to address the widening gap between the learning needs of today's always connected, mobile workforce and the institutionally embedded communication and learning management systems commonly found in the enterprise workplace.
Validation
Further research confirmed that to gain a competitive advantage and better serve customers, today's most productive sales and support staff prefer to learn through a combination of real time information from the internet, credible people (inside and outside the company) and on-demand company searchable information.
Build around the learner
Starting with the end user guiding principles - what they want to know, when they want to know it, how they choose to learn it - and then adding administrative functions for evaluating and reporting on work force readiness, we developed the Saltbox Software as a Service stand-alone solution and in October 2011, unveiled the Saltbox Jive Software application at JiveWorld 11! Looking forward
We believe developing sales and support personnel to best serve the customer requires both knowledge and skills development.
